WW2, ROYAL SUSSEX REGIMENT HOME GUARD, Cap Badge & Canvas Flash Lot 23 XS

The ROYAL SUSSEX REGIMENT, HOME GUARD related lot. 2 - Cap badges, of the SUSSEX REGIMENT, white metal with brass banner, both showing age darkening and wear to high points (with sweat holes on the back). Each with Slider fasteners. 1 - thin canvas cloth flash, word HOME GUARD, curved up, letters approx. 12mm high, letters dull aged white on dull gold/tan, shows age but still nice. 2 - Flashes, thin canvas, one with SX in black, letters approx. 19mm high, on khaki and other numbers 2 3, approx. 19mm high, also on khaki. All patches show having been sewn on and show age. With this lot a note explaining the above lot as having been used 1940-1944 by the owner who served in Bexhill. With name of soldier who wore them. Also a letter giving brief history of the Regiment. Post Card showing Regimental colours of the Sussex Regiment 2 Colored Christmas Cards showing different uniforms of the Sussex, with sender name in ink.
