Grouping of RCAF Ephemera & Insignia

A grouping of over 25 papers and artifacts pertaining to R71399 GT Purchase, an Air Gunner in the 413 Squadron RCAF. Many of the documents dated 1941 - 45 for duties while in the service. Included, many small paper items, Mess receipts, telegram, hand written letter dated 1941 from roommates, that he missed them being transferred out!, 1944 dated Tropic Topics newspaper, On Active Service Christmas card printed with his name and serial number, His enamelled General Service Pin with card of issue, EX Air Gunner patch. A nice interesting grouping of ephemera.
