Black Watch (Royal Highlander Regiment) of Canada Battle Dress Tunic
Post war, 1947 dated with open collar and lapels. With customized anodized Black Watch R.H. buttons on the epaulets. Sewn above pocket a grouping of his awarded military medals, including Mentioned in Dispatches, Efficiency with bar, and
Croix de Guerre with Oak leave (quite the distinguished service). Service in WW2 and Korea. Tunic shows use and wear, epaulets have holes were metal rank insignia once was.
Labelled by BATTLE DRESS BLOUSE SERGE, SIZE 13/ HEIGHT 5'11"- 6'0, and dated Nov 1947. This tunic issued and worn by Lt Col RM Campbell. Campbell was a Queens Own Cameron Highlander veteran who was injured at D-Day, and then later attached to the Black Watch.
